This park has a road that takes you through the heart of the Badlands, and there are different stops along the way so you can get out of the car and stretch your legs and hike. This park contains the world's richest Oligocene epoch fossil beds, dating 37-28 million years old (Badlands National Park). The park has many features that make it an educational vacation destination.
